Mayor Dan makes his regular visit!

Mayor Dan stopped by for his regular Thursday visit. He reminded us all of the great outdoor things there are to do in St. George and southern Utah. Hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, atv's, camping, hiking, horseback riding and so much more. Plus we gave away a round of golf for two to Sunbrook Golf Course with this trivia question.

Radio Shack has a bad HR Department!

On Tuesday 400 Radio Shack employees received an e-mail notice that their employment with the company was being terminated. Radio Shack defends the move stating the fact that they had meetings leading up to the e-mail warning employees that they may receive the notice. Smooth move Radio Shack!

Mayor Visit on August 24th

Mayor Dan made his regular visit to the show. He talked about how the announcement was made earlier this week about the new airport coming to St. George. He wanted to let us know that the airport is still about 4 years from being ready. That is an optimistic timeline too! Construction on the Boulevard is drawing near it's conclusion and there will be a celebration for the grand opening on September 29th.

Mayor Visit August 10th

Mayor Dan made his regular visit to the show today. He wanted to remind us of a few things: Stop by the city offices and pickup a copy of the Leisure Services Department brochure which has tons of great information and a map of the city trail system. Also, next Saturday August 19th is ride the Sun Tran buses for free day. That right...ride all day on Saturday August 19th for free. Good way to save gas and ride in air conditioned comfort around our beautiful city.

The Washington County Fair starts this week in Hurricane. So the big question for this week is...What is your favorite fair food? Mayor Visit August 3rd

Mayor Dan made his weekly visit to the Planet studios to discuss a couple of items. He said the number one question he gets from citizens of St. George is about traffic.
